Man Killed In Second Hit-Run In 24 Hours For Bergen County: Prosecutor A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Bergen County on Friday night, Oct 11 — the county's second fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in 24 hours. The man was struck on Godwin Avenue near Witte Drive in Midland Park just before 7:10 p.m., Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Lake Hiawatha Man Charged In Hit-Run Death Of Union 12-Year-Old A 37-year-old man from the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run that claimed the life of a boy in Union last month, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement Friday night.  Jose V.
