The 58-year-old woman and 65-year-old man were struck while in the crosswalk on Broadway at Park Avenue just before 6:45 p.m., Detective William Diedtrich told Daily Voice.
Both were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, he said.
"The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation and was subsequently issued a summons for failure to yield to a pedestrian," the detective said.
