The buyer who was scammed out of $500 called Paramus police, who made undercover arrangements to buy tickets of their own yesterday at the Garden State Plaza.
Officers immediately arrested the pair when they showed up, Ehrenberg said.
Tyron C. Carr, 30 (above, top), was being held on $10,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with two counts of theft.
His alleged accomplice, 28-year-old Ezequial Pinero, was charged was released on a summons to appear in Municipal Court to answer a charge of printing the bogus tickets.
Ehrenberg noted that his department has investigated several reported rip-offs involving counterfeit tickets for concerts, sports games and other events in the area.

The Zac Brown Band is playing PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Friday and the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden on Sunday.
