Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

This Woman From Jersey City Is The New Jeopardy! Champ. Who Is .... A financial planner from Jersey City crushed it on the high-brow quiz show Jeopardy! Wednesday night, defeating the returning champ with a $34,600 haul.  Elise Nussbaum beat out the winner from Tuesday, a New Hampshire medical student, and her fellow newcomer to the show, an engineer from Boston.  When she squares off against challengers Ryan Carmichael, of Queens, N.Y., and Miami resident Darrin Hall Thursday, it seems likely many Jersey City residents will be tuning in to cheer on their hometown gal.  Jeopardy! airs weeknights at 7 p.m. on WABC 7.

Update: Teen On Scooter Struck And Killed By Truck In Elizabeth A teen riding a scooter was hit by a truck in Elizabeth Wednesday night, according to witnesses and initial reports.  The 16-year-old was struck by a tow truck at Spring Street and Elizabeth Avenue around 8 p.m. and later died, officials said. Newark Man Once Again Charged With Child Pornography A Newark man who has previously been convicted of child pornography offenses was indicted Wednesday on yet more charges involving sexual images of minors.  Keith Voolgaris, 62, was in possession of at least 50 videos showing sexual abuse of minors, including prepubescent children, from July to September 2017, according to authorities. Newark Parking Authority Worker Seen Selling Heroin, Crack: Feds An employee of Newark's parking authority was charged Wednesday with drugs and weapons offenses after authorities said he was observed selling narcotics while in uniform.  Aughkay L. Victim In Fatal Newark Shooting Monday Identified The Essex County Prosecutor's Office has identified the man shot and killed in Newark as a 49-year-old city resident, the agency said Wednesday.  Hassan Webb was one of five people shot Monday night in the 100 block of South 8th Street.
