New Bridge Construction Results In Reduced Metro-North Service Metro-North Railroad is reducing late-night Hudson Line train service after 9 p.m. Friday, as workers building the new Tappan Zee Bridge install 700-ton girder assemblies over the tracks at Tarrytown.  There are no schedule changes on Saturday morning. Similar work will done on one more date in December. Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Struck By Car In Cortlandt CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A pedestrian is in stable condition after being struck by an automobile Thursday night in Cortlandt, police said. New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks responded to a car/pedestrian collision about 8:20 p.m. Thursday on East Main Street, near Baker Street. A police investigation revealed a 2007 Volvo operated by Mark Marmer, 66, of Putnam Valley, was traveling east on East Market Street.
