All equipment brought to the main entrance of Demarest High School on Knickerbocker Road will benefit Jeremy's Heroes, a local organization that helps underprivileged children participate in local sports programs.

The organization honors Jeremy Logan Glick of Saddle River, who sacrificed his life on Flight 93 on 9/11 to prevent terrorists from flying into the Washington, D.C. target.

Glick, a national Judo champion, "demonstrated many of the skills he obtained through his participation in sports, including teamwork, determination and self confidence," Jeremy's Heroes website says.
