NORTHVALE, N.J. -- Two new officers joined the ranks of the Northvale Police Department.

Sworn in Monday night by Mayor Ed Piehler in front of loved ones, friends and colleagues were Officers David Kropilak and Edward Sedano.

Kropilak received his Police Training Commission (PTC) certificate from the Atlantic County Police Academy this past June.

Sedano, already having received a SLEO II, will be attending the police academy at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute in Mahwah to complete his PTC certification.
