Bottoms Up: Beer Guru Will Share Wisdom In Old Tappan

OLD TAPPAN, N.J. -- Join beer aficionado John Holl in a guided look at the world of craft beer on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the Old Tappan Free Public Library.

John Holl will share some of his extensive beer knowledge next month at the library.

"There are more than 4,500 small breweries in the United States, producing some of the most flavorful and innovative brews that have ever been created," organizers note.

"Holl, the award-winning editor of All About Beer magazine and the author of 'The American Craft Beer Cookbook,' offers interesting facts, colorful stories and a look at why beer matters."

Holl, who lives in Jersey City, has also written for The New York Times and Wine Enthusiast.

Holl's presentation will begin at 7:15 p.m., in the library's Community Room. The library is at 56 Russell Ave., in Old Tappan.
