Route 202 will be closed in both directions this weekend for drainage pipe replacement in Hunterdon County. Both southbound lanes and one right northbound lane will be closed approximately one mile north of ramp Route 29, from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Sunday, New Jersey's transportation department said. Southbound traffic will get by in the southbound shoulder, while one right lane will be open for northbound traffic. Bus, Tractor-Trailer Crash On Route 80 In Blairstown
Six or seven people sustained minor injuries in a crash involving a passenger bus and tractor trailer on the eastbound side of Route 80 Tuesday morning, authorities said. The crash near mile marker 8.9 shattered the bus window and sent two or three people to a local hospital with minor injuries around 5:30 a.m., initial reports say. The bus was moved to the right shoulder of the highway around 7 a.m., as workers cleared shattered glass from the roadway, state police said. The eastbound side of Route 80 Wednesday morning due to an overturned tractor trailer on the eastbound side of Route 80 in Roxbury. Traffic was nearly at a standstill for several miles as of 9 a.m., drivers and 511nj.org reported. One person died and two others were injured when a Toyota overturned on Route 24 in Morris County. Carmen Orellana, 37, of Orange, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 11:21 a.m. accident on the eastbound side of the highway Wednesday in Morris Township, New Jersey State Trooper Alejandro Goez said. Orellana -- a passenger in the back seat of the sedan driven by Maria Ayala-Lopez, 21 of Orange -- was partially ejected when the sedan struck a guardrail and overturned, Goez said. Brace Yourself For Weeks Of Detours Through Chatham Borough
A several-week-long road restructuring project will cause detours through Chatham Borough. The North Passaic Avenue project under the county's engineering department will begin on Aug. 19 and continue through September, police said. Curbing, sidewalks and drainage work will occur mostly between Weston Avenue and the Florham Park border. The final milling and paving phase will occur along the entire length of the road. Route 80 was backed up Friday morning after a tractor trailer overturned spilling fuel across the highway. All lanes were closed near Exit 34 - NJ 15 as of 10:30 a.m., according to 511nj.org. Amtrak Worker Train Derails Near NYC's Penn Station, Commuter Tickets Cross-Honored By PATH
Direct Saturday morning commuter rail service into Manhattan's Penn Station was being diverted to Hoboken after an Amtrak worker train derailed, NJ Transit said. Customers could then switch to PATH, which was cross-honoring their tickets at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd Street in order to get to the area. No injuries were reported after a mechanical problem caused the derailment just outside Penn Station, the agency said. The train derailed just before 7 a.m., NJ Transit tweeted. Results included LIRR delays in and out of Penn.

Wires, Branches On Track Suspend Service To NJ Transit Morris & Essex Line
Service was suspended in both directions on NJ Transit's Morris & Essex Line due to downed branches and wires on the tracks. Trains between Summit and Gladstone have been stopped since around 5 a.m., due to overhead wire issues near Bernardsville, NJ Transit said on Twitter. Rail tickets and passes will continue to be cross-honored by NJ TRANSIT and private carrier buses.
