Boonton Township's Kyle Meyer Murders Dad, Police Say A Morris County son is accused of killing his dad on Sunday, Dec. 24, authorities said. Kyle Meyer, 33, is believed to have killed his dad, 61-year-old Gregory Meyer, was found dead in the home the two shared around 1:15 p.m. on Old Denville Road in Boonton Township, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said. Pitbulls In Zip-Tied Metal Cage Abandoned In Morris County Park Police in Morris County are seeking the person responsible for abandoning two pitbulls in a crate in a local park. The two female dogs were found together in a black, metal cage on Sunday, Oct. 29, in Port Morris Park in Roxbury, the Morris County Sheriff James Gannon said. The top of the cage was covered with a red blanket and the cage itself, was secured and held together with zip ties and a ratchet strap.
