Motorcyclist Injured After Striking Deer In Hunterdon County:

A motorcyclist was injured after he struck a deer in Hunterdon County on the early morning of Tuesday, June 25, authorities said. At 5:05 a.m. on Frontage Road in Clinton, a motorcyclist was traveling on Frontage Road when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the motorcycle, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

Authorities have released details in a dump truck crash on Route 31 in Clinton Township that left one person dead on Tuesday, June 18. Two people were injured in a crash between a motorcycle and five cars on Route 78 in Hunterdon County on Saturday, June 15, state police said. At 5:02 p.m., a crash occurred between five passenger vehicles and a motorcycle on Route 78 west in Clinton Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A police officer and suspect were both injured in a shooting on Monday, April 15, authorities said. An individual in a residence began shooting at a police officer on the 100 block of Forest Street, Thomas Fennelly, a spokesman for the Essex County Prosecutors Office said. Warren County School Bus Crash Sends Woman To Hospital, State Police Say
A Warren County crash involving a school bus and a Honda sent a woman to the hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 3, state police said. The bus collided with a Honda Accord on Brass Castle Road in White Township just before 3:55 p.m., Sgt. Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. A parachuter was flown to the hospital following a skydiving accident in Sussex County, state police said. The parachuter got stuck in power lines at the Sussex Airport in Wantage around 9:35 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan told DailyVoice.com. Troopers rescue the parachuter from the power lines as a medical helicopter landed near the scene to assist with transportation. Police say robbers may have specifically targeted a Jersey City man Thursday morning and gotten away with a large amount of cash. Officers responded to 484 Mercer St. a little before 10 a.m. on a report of a robbery, a police spokeswoman said.
