An accused drug dealer from Bloomfield provided the drugs that killed a user from Jersey City at a Lyndhurst motel, authorities charged. Alberto Delgado, 43, was accused of selling the fentanyl-laced crack that killed 54-year-old Luke Revell after he smoked it at the Winslow Motor Hotel just off eastbound Route 3. A pair of door-to-door contractors were arrested after police say they scammed a North Jersey woman out of $125,000. The victim hired Patrick O'Doherty and Anthony Doherty to repair to sets of concrete steps for $3,800, paid in full in advance, on Aug. 20, Bloomfield police said. Driver Killed In Morris County Crash On Route 280: State Police
A 58-year-old driver died in a Sunday morning crash on Route 280, authorities said. The crash occurred in the westbound lanes near milepost 2.2 in East Hanover around 11:25 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. A Hyundai passenger vehicle driven by Nathaniel Gardiner ran off the right side of the road and down a grass embankment before hitting a tree, Curry said.
