Bergen County HS Mourns Loss Of Senior Joseph McNeice, 18: 'Unimaginable'
A Bergen County high school is mourning the loss of one of its students.
Joseph "Joe" McNeice, 18, of Montvale, died peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, his obituary on the Becker Funeral Home website says.
"He courageously battled hardships every single day of his life, but he outmatched each obstacle with a positive outlook and smiling face," Joe's obituary says.
A senior at Pascack Hills High School, Joe was a "dynamic force" on the school's bowling team, having learned the game from his older brother, Sean, Jeo's obituary reads.

Bergen County Native, U.S. Army Officer Alyson Garino Dies, 30 (Tribute)
Alyson Garino, a Bergen County native and highly-respected First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, died on Dec. 2, 2023. She was 30 years old.
A graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy, Alyson went on to attend Penn State University, State College, and graduated with honors in 2015, according to her obituary on the Becker Funeral Home website. A Schreyer Scholar, she majored in English and minored in Military Studies. Joe Wolfe always knew his son was well-liked, but he didn't fully understand how loved he was until his funeral last week.
Devin Wolfe, 30, who grew up in River Vale, died in a car accident on Long Island on Saturday, Sept. 9.
