Altariq Hickson Found Dead
A 20-year-old Morris County man missing since Wednesday, March 6 was found dead, authorities announced. Altariq Hickson was last seen at his home in Roxbury, prior to a missing persons investigation being launched six days later. Hickson’s personal belongings were discovered on Mine Hill Beach, and a search of the area was conducted by the Morris County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, and the Morris County Office of Emergency Management, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said. Warren County Man Found Dead In Embankment:

A 74-year-old Warren County man died after being found in at the bottom of an embankment on Wednesday, March 6, state police said. At 1:14 p.m., state police responded to a residence on Rock N' Wood Road in White Township and found the unresponsive man in an embankment adjacent to the residence, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Edwin Glover, a White Township resident, succumbed to his injuries, McNair said. The incident remains under investigation, McNair said.

A man was struck and killed by a freight train in northeast Bergen County near the New York State line. The man -- who responders said appeared to be in his 20s -- was struck near the Clinton Avenue crossing off Briarwood Lane near Veterans Memorial Park shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3. Man Dies Removing Christmas Lights In Fall From Ladder In Union County: Police
A 62-year-old man died when he fall from a ladder removing Christmas lights in Union County over the weekend, authorities said. The man landed on a concrete walkway and hit his head outside of his Ray Avenue home in Union Township around 11:50 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, township police said. There were apparently no witnesses at the scene, so it was unclear high how he was when he fell, police tell NJ Advance Media. The unnamed victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Woman Killed In Warren County Fire, Police Say
A woman was killed in a fire in Warren County, authorities said. The Pohatcong Police and Fire Departments responded to the blaze on the 400 block of Maple Avenue and confirmed the fatality on Wednesday, Oct. 5, police said. Initial reports said the fire broke out in a building near the intersection with Zellers Alley around 5 p.m. The fire has been ruled accidental. The victim’s identity has not been released. Fire departments in Harmony, Alpha, and Lopatcong, as well as Phillipsburg emergency crews and local, county and state fire investigators, assisted at the scene.

A 74-year-old man from Hunterdon County was killed in a motorcycle crash over the weekend, authorities confirmed. Daniel A. Dean, of Whitehouse Station, was riding a motorcycle on Route 579 northbound when he collided with another vehicle near milepost 34.77 in Alexandria Township around 2:35 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, according to a release from the Lehigh County, Pennsylvania Coroner’s Office. A liquor company CEO was on drugs when he fell to his death while attending a concert at Citi Field Friday, reports say. Ian Matthew Crystal, 46, had allegedly taken acid and had been drinking and smoking pot before falling 30 to 50 feet during intermission at the Dead & Company show, NYPD told NY Post. A 74-year-old Hillsborough man was crushed to death by a commercial lawnmower the weekend, authorities said. Police found John Levinski under the machine on the 400 block of Township Line and not breathing after neighbors called 911 just before 5 p.m., Hillsborough police said. A woman from Hudson County was found dead on a beach in Highlands Sunday morning, News 4 New York reported. Melissa Fries, 37, was reported missing Saturday night after going swimming with friends.
