Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Baltimore Man Charged With Murder While Already In Jail Police have arrested a Baltimore man accused of killing a Randallstown man during a dispute earlier this month. Ricky Crenshaw, 46, is accused of fatally shooting Terence Cheatham after an argument in the 2100 block of Edmondson Avenue, according to Baltimore police. Police were called to the scene around 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 21 after receiving reports of a shooting. Crenshaw was taken into custody on firearm-related charges and was charged with first-degree murder on Tuesday, March 28.

James Jenkins, 18, is wanted for the murder of Phillip Wallace, which occurred on June 30, 2022, according to Baltimore police. Police say that Jenkins attempted to car-jack Wallace in the 4800 block of Pimlico Road, fatally shooting him in the process. Jenkins stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and reportedly weighs around 190 pounds. Police consider him to be armed and dangerous. Baltimore Police Search For Suspect Behind Late-Night Killing A 29-year-old man is dead after a shooting in South Baltimore, authorities say. Baltimore Police were called to the 1800 block of Eagle Street around 9 p.m., Monday, March 27 for reports of a shooting. Officers arrived at the scene and entered a dwelling where they found the 29-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
