Culto Italiano, or the Italian vibe, opened on Dec. 1 at 49 W. Church Street in Bergenfield.The three pizza chefs are 31-year-old Corrado Cervelli, 23-year-old Angelo Riccio, Gianni Massaro. Wayne Wawa Sets Opening Date Wayne's Wawa store has finally set an opening date. The Wawa at 1512 Route 23 North will open on Thursday, Dec. 14, the chain's website shows. The site was home to Nagel's Candy Barn until 2015 when the owners fell ill, and was torn down in 2022. The 4,736-square-foot, 24/7 convenience store comes with eight fuel pumps with two dispensers each.  As is the case will all Wawa grand openings, the first 100 customers will get free t-shirts and all customers get free coffee while supplies last. Doors open at 8 a.m.

ShopRite celebrated its grand opening at 180 Broadway in Elmwood Park on Friday, Nov. 17.  The location is the site of a former K-Mart, which shuttered in 2018 and was completely rebuilt by ShopRite.  The 60,000 square foot store is run by Inserra Supermarkets and features a bakery, prepared food, a butcher, and seafood, deli and floral departments.
