South Jersey Driver Charged In Deadly Hit-Run Pedestrian Crash: Prosecutor A South Jersey man has been charged with leaving the scene of a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash, authorities said. Matthew Cademartori, 25, of Northfield, was traveling eastbound on the White Horse Pike when he allegedly struck Talmadge Franklin, 67, of Absecon who was walking eastbound, according to Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill. After striking Franklin, Cademartori allegedly left the scene of Saturday morning's crash, Shill said. Driver In Head-On Crash That Killed NJ Police Officer Heading Home From Work Charged A woman has been charged with vehicular homicide and assault by auto in a June 2020 crash that left a New Jersey police officer heading home from work dead. Taquaysha Bell, 29, of Trenton, was heading west on White Horse Pike on June 19, when she swerved into oncoming traffic and struck a vehicle head-on,  Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced. South Jersey Motorcyclist, 31, Killed In Head-On Collision A 31-year-old father from Atlantic County was killed when his motorcycle collided head-on with a car in Galloway Township, authorities said. Darryl Crowder, a construction worker from Hammonton, was driving east on the White Horse Pike at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday when a motorist driving west struck the motorcycle as she tried to turn left onto South Cologne Avenue, Galloway police said. Crowder was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Trauma Unit in Atlantic City, where he died of his injuries.
