A Pennsylvania man will spend at least two decades in prison for killing two people during an illegal car rally in Wildwood, authorities said. Gerald White, 38, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced on Thursday, Feb. 8 to 25 years in prison, for killing two people at the violent H2oi car rally in 2022, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland announced. Jersey Shore Man Arrested In Road Rage Incident: Police
A 24-year-old driver from Point Pleasant was arrested in connection with a road rage incident and fleeing Brick police, authorities said. Jonathan Weydig was arrested with the assistance of Point Pleasant police, according to Brick police. Weydig had six outstanding warrants and was charged with eluding officers, obstruction and hindering apprehension, police said. Weydig also was issued 12 motor vehicle summonses, they said. Students were fortunately unharmed and a school bus driver was hit with tickets after colliding with another vehicle Wednesday, May 10, authorities said. The crash occurred at Route 518 and Vreeland Drive in Montgomery Township around 4:15 p.m., according to police.
