Man Arrested Shouting Obscenities At Jersey Shore Synagogue: Police A 44-year-old man from Morris County was arrested after allegedly shouting ethnic and homophobic obscenities outside a synagogue on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. On Friday, July 15, at approximately 1 p.m., Deal Police Officer Jon Losquadro was dispatched to Ohel Yaacob Congregation at Ocean and Lawrence avenues for a man screaming obscenities at congregants.  Officers responded to the scene and interviewed the victims and learned that the accused had made several terroristic threats that were biased in nature. Nicholas Thompson, 25, pleaded guilty to a second-degree charge of attempted aggravated sexual assault on Tuesday, May 17, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.
