No Charges For NJ Driver, 73, Who Fatally Struck Woman, 77, Walking To Bus Stop: PD
Charges have yet to be filed against a 73-year-old driver who fatally struck a 77-year-old woman Sunday, Nov. 19 in Bridgewater Township, police said. Maria Zuniga was crossing Union Avenue near Finderne Avenue at 9:55 a.m. attempting to reach a bus stop when she was struck by a 2015 Honda CRV driven by a 73-year-old Somerville man heading east, Bridgewater Police Officer Cole Taggert said. Motorcyclist, 24, Killed In South Jersey Crash: State Police
A 24-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Burlington County collision, authorities said. The crash occurred at 4:54 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20 when the 70-year-old driver of a Honda CRV made a left turn at the intersection of Route 206 and County Road 670 in Springfield Township, according to New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan The southbound Yamaha motorcycle collided with the Honda in the intersection, he said. The motorcyclist's name had not been released pending notification of next of kin. The Honda driver was treated for minor injuries, Marchan said.

A 33-year-old man from Ocean County has been charged with aggravated assault and assault by auto in a crash that injured four people, one critically, authorities said. Charles Sharkey Jr. of Jackson Township is accused of running a red light with a suspended license before the crash, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
