Police in Central Jersey have identified the 38-year-old Pennsylvania motorcyclist killed in a Route 1 crash earlier this week. Lawrence Green of Marcus Hook, PA, was operating a Honda motorcycle near Major Road during the 7:40 a.m. crash on Tuesday, April 23, according to South Brunswick police. Green was driving on the shoulder of Route 1 northbound when he was struck by a Chevy Malibu attempting to merge onto the Major Road off-ramp, police said. South Brunswick police have released the name of the driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, April 23. Curtis Bryant 3rd, 65, of South River was driving a Nissan Maxima on Route 535 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, police said. Police ID College Student Killed In I-295 Crash
Authorities have identified the 20-year-old driver killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 295 in Mercer County. Samuel Beale, of the Kenvil section of Roxbury, was driving a Nissan SUV northbound near milepost 60.6 in Hamilton shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, April 14, when he veered off the highway to the left and struck a concrete bridge support and guardrail, New Jersey State Police said. Beale was pronounced dead at the scene, State Police said. Beale was a sophomore economics major at Rider University in Lawrenceville, according to his LinkedIn.com profile.

The man was driving a Nissan SUV north at milepost 60.6 in Hamilton at about 7:50 p.m. Sunday, April 14, when he veered off the highway to the left and collided with a concrete bridge support and guardrail, according to New Jersey State Police Sgt. Motorcycle Driver Crashes Into Cargo Van, Dies In Central Jersey
A Monmouth County man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a cargo van, authorities said. William Eckert III, 54, of Eatontown, died in the crash on Monday, Apr. 8, according to a Shrewsbury police spokesperson. It happened at around 2:05 p.m. on Route 35, about 300 feet south of Sycamore Avenue. Eckert was driving a 2016 black motorcycle when he crashed into an unoccupied 2019 cargo van. Paramedics rushed him to Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Police were investigating the cause of the crash.
