New Wawa Store Opens On The Shore Wawa, Inc. and about 60 employees celebrated the grand opening of its newest store at 10 Lanes Mill Road in Brick Township. Brick Mayor Lisa Crate helped count down the moment when the doors opened at 8 a.m. Thursday, April 6, for the very first time. There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Wawa’s mascot Wally Goose, Customers enjoyed free coffee. Additional promotions and discounts continue through Sunday, April 9, Wawa officials said. NJ Target Store Weeks Away From Opening Another former Kmart store is being replaced by a new Target store -- this time in Atlantic County.  The newest Target to land in Somers Point is set to open this month in, NJ.com says citing news reports. Kmart vacated its anchor store at Somers Point Plaza, a popular shopping center off of Route 9.  Target Corp also has plans to replace a shuttered Kmart store in Wall, Monmouth County, and Kearney in Hudson County. A shuttered Kmart store in Mercer County is being replaced by a popular discount Grocery Outlet store as reported here by Daily Voice.

6 New QuickChek Stores Coming To NJ This Summer QuickChek is set to open six new locations in New Jersey this summer. The convenient stores are coming to Hackettstown, Hamilton Township, Piscataway, Roxbury, Somerset and Somerville, its website says. The stores will be located at Hackettstown: 134 Mountain Ave. Hamilton Township: 704 Sloan Ave. Piscataway: 3 Lakeview Ave. Roxbury: 84 Route 206 Somerset: 1850 Easton Ave. Somerville: 3483 Route 22 They are all expected to open in August.
