The fires occurred at about on Monday afternoon, Sept. 18. The fires caused "significant traffic issues," police said. Route 27 was closed between Kingston Terrace Drive and Raymond Road, police said. A pole fire on Route 27 is preventing vehicles from heading southbound. Fatal Motorcycle Crash Reported In Central Jersey: Police There was a fatal motorcycle crash in Central Jersey, according to developing and unconfirmed reports. South Brunswick police confirmed the motorcyclist was killed. The crash occurred at 3:21 p.m. on Monday, July 11 at Georges Road and Summerfield Boulevard in South Brunswick Township, police said. Woman Seriously Injured By Deer Who Ran Into Crowd Of South Brunswick Marchers A deer that ran into a crowd during a Black Lives Matter protest injured three people  including one seriously, authorities said. The deer apparently ran from the South Brunswick High School into the crowd marching on Route 522 at the 5 p.m. march on Friday. A 69-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with a serious head injury, while two others were treated at the scene, police said.
