Stabbing During Robbery Reported On Rutgers Campus: Police An armed robbery led to a stabbing at Rutgers University early Thursday, Sept 29, authorities said. The incident occurred at 1:29 a.m. near the intersection of French Street and Prospect Street in New Brunswick, university police said. During a brief fight, one of three suspects slashed the victim’s arm with a knife, according to Rutgers Police Chief Kenneth Cop. The victim is not affiliated with the university. Multiple Armed Robberies Investigated At Rutgers University: Police Three separate robberies are under investigation at the Rutgers University campus in New Brunswick, authorities said. According to a statement released by Rutgers Police Chief Kenneth Cop, the first incident occurred on Thursday, March 3, at approximately 1:04 a.m. on Hartwell Street near Hamilton Street. Cop said in this incident, the victims, who are affiliated with Rutgers University, reported that they were approached by four male perpetrators who brandished a single handgun and removed items of value.
