Robber Pulls Gun On Jewelry Store Repair Owner In Middletown, Police Say
Police in Middletown are investigating after a robber pulled a gun on a jewelry repair store owner on Friday, June 21. The gunman had been outside with the owner of Jewelry Repair and Design on Cherry Tree Farm Road just before following them inside around 2 p.m., police said. That's when the suspect pulled out a handgun. The suspect is described by police as white male, approximately 5’7" and in his late 20s to early 30s, with facial hair. Busts Dad Of Saquon Barkley With Loaded Gun In Unregistered Corvette
The father of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was arrested with a loaded gun in a New York City traffic stop this week, police said. Police stopped Alibay Barkley, 55, of Whitehall, PA, in a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette with an obstructed license plates that didn't match the car, at East 140 St. and Third Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, the NYPD said. Screeners at New York City airports caught travelers with an average of a gun a week last year, the TSA reported. The 51 handguns seized by Transportation Security Administration officers last year were 30% more than the 39 in 2022, the agency said on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
