DWI Toms River Driver Gets Prison Time For Fatal Crash
A 32-year-old woman from Toms River has been sentenced to five years in New Jersey State Prison for a DWI crash that killed a 62-year-old man, authorities said. Ashley Beams' drunken-driving crash resulted in the death of James Cruz of the Parlin section of Old Bridge Township, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Beams pleaded guilty to a vehicular homicide charge on July 24.
