Bicyclist, 40, Fatally Struck By Car In Monmouth County Mourned As Loyal Friend The 40-year-old Middletown woman killed in a bike crash "truly felt one with nature," friends say. Funeral services have been announced for Crystal Kaylor who was fatally hit by a car last week. Kaylor was hit by the car at 9:21 p.m. July 19 at the intersection of Route 35 and Chapel Hill Road. She was riding her bike north on Route 35 at the time, police said. The driver remained at the scene and no criminal charges had been filed. Bicyclist, 40, Killed In Fatal Jersey Shore Crash: Police A 40-year-old bicyclist from Middletown was killed in a crash, authorities said. Crystal Kaylor was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Wednesday, July 19, according to Middletown police. At 9:21 p.m., Middletown Township police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist that was struck, police said. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes at the intersection of State Route 35 and Chapel Hill Road, they said.
