'Medical Emergency' Caused Driver To Hit, Kill Norristown Pedestrian: Officials A pedestrian died on Tuesday afternoon, June 18 after being struck by a driver in Norristown, police say.  The victim was hit at West Main and Stanbridge streets just before noon and pronounced dead at the hospital an hour later, said city officials. Authorities did not report his name.  Investigators believe the driver, "an elderly male," suffered a medical emergency before striking the pedestrian on the West Main Street crosswalk. Cold CASE: Philly Woman Found Strangled Off I-81 In Schuylkill County Pennsylvania State Police continue to investigate the murder of Caryn Fortino.  Fortino, 38, was found dead in a wooded area off of Interstate 81 in Delano Township on May 23, 2003. She had been strangled, according to troopers.  Authorities said Fortino was from the Philadelphia area and was last in contact with loved ones that February. I-95 Crash Leads To Lane Restriction In Bucks County Authorities are responding to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95.  It happened around 11 a.m. in the northbound lanes about 1.5 miles north of Exit 32 (Academy Road/Linden Avenue), according to PennDOT.  A lane restriction is in effect, officials said.

Two Teens Caught In Stolen Car, Allentown Police Say Two juvenile suspects were arrested after police said they were found in a stolen vehicle early Monday, June 17.  Authorities said they were called about a stolen car on the 600 block of Chew Street around 1:40 a.m. While officers were taking the report, the car was spotted near North 7th Street entering the city.  The vehicle was pulled over and both juveniles were taken into custody, APD said. They are charged with fleeing and eluding, theft, receiving stolen property, evading arrest on foot, and traffic offenses, authorities said.

36 Animals Including Bull, Chickens Rescued From School Bus Trailer In Adams County: SPCA Thirty birds, four dogs, one bull, and one pony were removed from a school bus and trailer in Adams County over the weekend, according to the SPCA.  Eastern Adams Regional police called SPCA members to Hanover Street and Red Hill Road on Saturday night, the organization said in a release.  Police had discovered the animals in the bus and accompanying trailer after arresting the driver on out-of-state warrants, officials said.
