Central Jersey Burglar Arrested In Pizzeria, Convenience Store Break-Ins: Police

A 42-year-old man from Somerset County has been arrested in connection with break-ins at a pizzeria and convenience store, authorities said.

Maurice R. Sanders, of Bridgewater, was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft and two counts of criminal mischief, Middlesex Borough police said.

After an investigation, Middlesex Detective Sergeant Thomas Falk determined that during the early morning hours of Dec. 11, Sanders burglarized Luca’s Pizza at 115 Harris Ave. and Quick Stop at 518 Bound Brook Road.

In a separate incident on Dec. 24, a resident of Benart Place in Middlesex reported that multiple rings valued at $13,000 were stolen from her residence.
