Motorcyclist Flown To Hospital After Route 202 Crash In Somerset County: Police

A motorcyclist was flown to a nearby hospital after an early morning crash with a Volvo on Route 202 in Branchburg on Friday, Sept. 8.

A Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with a gray Volvo on the northbound side near North Branch River Road just before 7:40 a.m., Branchburg Township Police Lt. Edward Edgar told Daily Voice.

The motorcyclist was flown to a nearby hospital via NJSP Medevac for treatment of unspecified injuries. The Volvo driver was evaluated at the scene by Somerset RWJ Paramedics and refused further treatment, Lt. Edgar added.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to damages.
