Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Route 1 In Lawrence Township There was a pedestrian struck and killed along Route 1 in Lawrence Township, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14 on the 3300 block of Brunswick Pike (Route 1), police said. The 39-year-old driver from Ewing and passengers were not injured. Ocean Township police were called to a pedestrian crash on West Park Avenue at around 5:49 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced on Wednesday, Jan. 31. A Hyundai sedan heading northbound on Buttonwood Street was attempting to cross Nottingham Way into the Walmart parking lot when he struck a Honda minivan around 3:15 p.m., Hamilton Police Chief James M.
