Propane Truck Crashes Into Chinese Restaurant, 3 Vehicles On Jersey Shore A tractor-trailer carrying propane tanks slammed into a Chinese restaurant at Berkeley Plaza after striking three other vehicles, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, Berkeley Township police said. Photos of the crash scene were posted by Exit 80 Scanner News and Ocean County Scanner News. The truck's 57-year-old driver, Todd Giglio, from the Whiting section of Manchester, had suffered a medical episode, police said. Driver Airlifted In Weekend Crash On Garden State Parkway A medical chopper was called to a crash on the Garden State Parkway on the Jersey Shore for at least four patients Sunday, July 31, Ocean County Scanner News reports. The crash was caused when a Nissan Maxima heading north traveled across all four lanes and struck the left guardrail around 1:05 p.m. near milepost 96.3 in Wall Township, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said. Unbuckled Woman Critical After Running Stop Sign, Striking Garbage Truck In Toms River: PD A 37-year-old driver was unbuckled when she blew a stop sign and was struck by a garbage truck in Central Jersey leaving her critical on Tuesday, authorities said. Anna Zybura, of Keansburg, was heading north on Garfield Avenue in Toms River, when she failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection of Garfield and Windsor avenues around 7:40 a.m., local police said. Zybura’s car was struck by a township garbage truck going west on Windsor Avenue, police said. Jersey Shore Driver, 21, Killed In Garden State Parkway Exit Ramp Crash A 21-year-old Jersey Shore driver was killed in a crash on a Garden State Parkway exit ramp over the weekend. Kevin Grady was attempting to leave the road at Exit 69 in Ocean Township when he lost control of his Audi A4, veered to the left and struck several small trees around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, New Jersey State Police said. Grady's vehicle hit a large tree, bringing the car to a stop. He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, and was later pronounced dead, NSP Sgt. Philip Curry said.
