Two men have been charged with murder in connection with a 2008 robbery and fatal beating, authorities said. Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri announced the cold case arrests on Monday, April 22 in connection with the death of Leroy Julious of Ewing Township. A 45-year-old man from Trenton was found fatally wounded on a porch, authorities said. No arrests had been made, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. Shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb 28, Trenton police responded to a shooting in progress at 428 Ardmore Ave. Police found an unresponsive male victim on the porch suffering from a gunshot wound, Onofri said. A Ewing Township man has been found guilty by a Mercer County jury for the shooting death of his Pennsylvania girlfriend at his home, authorities said. A 40-year-old Trenton man was stabbed dead Thursday, Oct. 19, authorities said. Corey Jones was rushed to the hospital around 9 p.m. after being found unresponsive with a stab wound on Cross Street and Kersey Alley, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. A three-month investigation into cocaine sales in Trenton led to an arrest and seizure of $10,500 in cocaine, two handguns and nearly $4,000 cash, authorities said.
