Mercer County Jail Inmate Stabbed In Back Authorities were investigating a reported stabbing at the Mercer County Correctional Institution. The stabbing occurred before 5 p.m. on Friday at the jail located at 1750 River Road in Lambertville, initial reports said. Michael Owens was charged with murder and several weapons charges on Thursday at Mercer County Correctional Institution where he has been held since July 24 on assault and theft charges,, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J.
