Department of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and Federal Bureau of Investigation have been unable to find any leads in a mass shooting Sunday that left 13 injured, according to the Connecticut Post. Gas Prices Creep Upward In Connecticut And Nation STAMFORD, Conn. -- Connecticut and national average gas prices are creeping slowly upward after nearly eight weeks of decline, according to AAA Northeast. As of Aug. 22, Connecticut’s average gas price of $2.26 has increased four cents compared to this time last week, a slow climb that started late last week. Nationally, the average price of a gallon of gas also increased by four cents from today’s $2.16 average from last week’s $2.12.  In both cases, however, average gas prices are still significantly lower to this time last year, AAA said.
