United Jewish Federation Screens Film In Stamford About Holocaust Rescuer STAMFORD, Conn. -- Community members are invited to a film screening of the award-winning docudrama "Disobedience: The Sousa Mendes Story" on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. at The State Cinema, 990 Hope St. in Stamford. South Norwalk Kids Head Back To School With Community Celebration NORWALK, Conn. -- Donors and supporters came together to send the children of the King Kennedy Homes in South Norwalk back to school with all the necessary supplies at a special community celebration. The event was organized by Luis Delgado and featured guest appearances by Mayor Harry Rilling and Senator Bob Duff. Helping out were the Eagle Riders of Norwalk associated with the Eagle Club on Mott Avenue and representatives from Stepping Stones Museum.
