'Abduction' Of Bloodied Woman In South Brunswick Was Big Misunderstanding What police in South Brunswick initially believed was a possible abduction turned out to be a big misunderstanding, police said. Authorities launched an investigation Wednesday, Aug. 3, when witnesses said they saw a woman bleeding from her head and yelling help being pulled into the cab of a tractor trailer. Turns out, the woman had fallen and hit her head, and knew the man who helped her. The pair rushed off to seek medical treatment, abc7 says. Bloomfield Man Killed In Weekend Crash, 2 Passengers Hurt A 27-year-old man from Bloomfield was killed and two others hurt in a single-car crash in Woodbridge over the weekend, authorities said. Isiah Hamilton was heading south on Rahway Avenue when his car veered off the road and struck a pole around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Woodbridge police said. Hamilton was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, where he was pronounced dead. Hamilton’s two passengers, 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, were taken to University Hospital in Newark with non life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
