Community Helps Garwood Family Rebuild After Building Collapse Steve, Gina and their family have been faced with unimaginable adversity the last few weeks. Three weeks ago, Gina suffered a severe dislocated ankle, requiring immediate surgery and making every tasks a struggle. While recovering from surgery, their apartment building partially collapsed, making Steve, Gina and all the other tenants homeless. A fundraiser has been created to assist the family. As of Thursday, August 3, more than $9,600 has been raised. North Jersey's Robert Meo Was Sweet Soul Who Gravitated Toward Animals Paterson native and Denville resident Robert "Robby" Meo died on April 10, 2022. An avid runner and hiker, Robby enjoyed spending time with his family, and shared a special bond with his grandfather, Orlando Meo and his aunt Gina, his obituary says.  He was being remembered as a gentle soul who "gravitated people and animals alike."
