Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Car In Linden: Police A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Linden on Monday, Oct. 2 authorities said. The victim, who has not been identified, was crossing E. St. George Avenue from the Roselle Street side when he was struck by an SUV traveling eastbound, Linden police said.  The victim was transported to Trinitas Regional Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced deceased, police said. The occupants of the SUV were not injured in the crash and are cooperating with the investigation, police said The crash remains under investigation, and anyone with information is urged …

4-Year-Old Boy On Bicycle Critical After Being Struck By Car In Linden A 4-year-old boy was critically injured after he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle with his dad in Linden on Thursday, Sept. 15, authorities said. The boy was with his 32-year-old dad when they were hit by a vehicle at Roselle Street across from E. St. George Avenue, toward Chestnut Street around 7:25 a.m., police said.  The boy was taken to Newark University Hospital where he was in critical condition. His father suffered minor injuries.
