Authorities Investigate Robo Calls To Hackensack Fire Department Authorities are investigating a series of ongoing robo calls that have recently been placed to the Hackensack Fire Department, fire officials said. For the last three days, the calls have been coming in on the basic 10-digit line but are not affecting the department's responses or operations, Hackensack Fire Captain Justin Derevyanik said. Mahwah Police Urge Residents To Report Rising Middle-Of-Night Robo Calls MAHWAH, N.J. – Mahwah’s police chief on Thursday urged residents to report what has become a rising number of middle-of-the-night robo-call hangups to federal authorities. “There’s been a dramatic increase of complaints regarding robo calls throughout the state but also within Mahwah,” Police Chief James N.
