Hackensack Woman Stabbed, Arrest Quickly Made
A 27-year-old Hackensack woman survived a stabbing before dawn Saturday, said city police who quickly made an arrest. City police seized Jonathan Salazar Sigcha, 29, who also lives in Hackensack, at the scene on Polifly Road shortly after 2:30 a.m. Oct 14, Police Director Raymond Guidetti said. They sent Sigcha to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack. UPDATE: Four women who work at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack were hospitalized -- one of them in serious condition -- after an apparent group drug overdose in a lower parking garage early Wednesday evening. A highly-respected law enforcement veteran has become Hackensack's new police director. Raymond Guidetti, who retired as a lieutenant colonel after a highly distinguished career with the New Jersey State Police, began working last week, multiple department and city sources confirmed Tuesday.
