An 89-year-old woman died in a Montclair house fire, authorities said.
Delia V. West was home alone when the two-alarm blaze broke out at her Walnut Crescent home just after 3 p.m. Friday, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The cause remains under investigation. No other injuries were reported.
