Football Star, 24, Dies Of Injuries From Trenton Shooting: Prosecutor A 24-year-old man from Mercer County died of injuries suffered in a shooting in Trenton earlier this month, authorities said. Justin Prescott Reed, of Ewing, died on May 22, as a result of injuries he sustained in the May 14 shooting on Brunswick Avenue, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said on Wednesday, May 31. No arrests had been made in the shooting as of press time, authorities said. Teen Goes Missing In Ewing Police in Ewing are seeking the public's help locating a 15-year-old boy. Samir Crawford went missing from the area of Ewing High School after he walked away from a family member that came to pick him up from school, the police department said Tuesday, May 17.  Samir was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, black shoes and black rimmed glasses. Lifelong Mercer County Resident Dies Unexpectedly, 40 Lifelong Mercer County resident Jenifer Sharmein Taylor Hackett died unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 28. She was 40. Hackett grew up in Ewing, where she graduated from Ewing High School in 1999, according to her Facebook page. Hackett then moved to Hamilton Township, where she lived at the time of her death, her obituary says.
