Camden Dad Bernaldo 'Bmac' Torres Dies Suddenly, 45 Bernaldo Torres of Camden died suddenly on Friday, Feb. 23, according to an obituary published by Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home and a GoFundMe campaign. He was 45. Better known as Bernie to his family and Bmac to his close friends, he was born in Philadelphia, his obituary said. "If anyone was ever looking for Bernaldo, he could always be found writing lyrics for his music," his obituary said. Man, 58, Struck, Killed By Train In Camden County A 58-year-old Burlington County man was struck and killed by a New Jersey Transit train in Camden County, authorities said. Thomas E. Schroder, of Maple Shade, died in the crash that occurred at about 8:20 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13 south of Cove Road in Pennsauken, a NJ Transit spokesman said. The River Line light rail train left Trenton at 7:27 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Camden at 8:34 p.m., the spokesman said. Fifteen customers were on board at the time. South Jersey Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Bar Shooting: Prosecutor Authorities have arrested a 42-year-old South Jersey man in connection with a bar shooting. Carl Young, of Merchantville, was apprehended on Sunday, March 6, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Police Chief Philip Olivo. Young was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and related weapons offenses in the shooting of a 35-year-old man from Merchantville, MacAulay and Olivo said.
