Wildwood Police: Unsanctioned 'Pop-Up' Party Stopped After Memorial Day Weekend Chaos Wildwood police are warning about an unsanctioned "pop-up" party planned less than three weeks after the city declared a state of emergency over Memorial Day weekend. The Wildwood Police Department said on Facebook on Wednesday, June 12 that it was aware of a social media post promoting a beach pop-up party on the weekend of Saturday, June 15. Police said the organizers were identified and the events were canceled on their social media sites.
