Robert McMichael, 38, of Wildwood, and Scott Hudson, 31, of West Wildwood, were later arrested in connection with the incident that began on the 200 block of East Bennett Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, Wildwood police said.  McMichael and Hudson assaulted the homeowner before stealing items from the house, police said. Authorities received a call at 4:16 p.m. Thursday, July 6 reporting a person trapped in a burning home at 2203 New York Avenue in North Wildwood, according to city Fire Chief Dominick McClain.
