Jersey Shore Man Found With Stolen Gun, Burglary Tools: Police
An Asbury Park man was accused of having a stolen gun, knives, and burglary tools, authorities said.
Corey Thermitus, 20, was arrested on Friday, Mar. 8, Wall Township police said in a news release.
Thermitus was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata on Route 35 when officers pulled him over at around 3:45 p.m. Police said he had a Taurus 9mm gun, two knives, a sledgehammer, and a ski mask.

Missing Postal Worker's Body Recovered From Jersey Shore
The search for Corey McFadden has come to a tragic end.
The body of the missing 33-year-old postal worker, who was reported missing by co-workers on Monday, May 1, was recovered approximately a mile off the Sandy Hook coast after being spotted by a fisherman on Monday, May 22, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said.
McFadden, of Lower Township, was a U.S. Postal Service employee who have delivered mail in Cape May City since 2019, a manager said.

The Cape May postal worker who went missing had contact with police using a fake last name on Sunday, April 30, authorities said.
Corey McFadden, using an alias “Corey Samuels,” had contact with Manasquan Police during the evening hours of April 30, according to Lower Township police.

Police in two towns seek the public's help with a missing person investigation.

Two people died in a crash Sunday, Dec. 18 on the Garden State Parkway on Monmouth County, authorities said.
Jerome Digiovanni, 75, of Toms River, was partially stopped in the right lane in a Chevrolet Equinox with Ronald Devingo, 57, also of Toms River, standing to the left of the vehicle near mile post 97.7 in Wall Township around 1:30 p.m., New Jersey State Police said.

A 58-year-old Toms River resident was killed in a five-vehicle crash that closed the Garden State Parkway for hours Friday, authorities said.
The 12 p.m. crash occurred on the southbound side near milepost 96.8 in Wall Township, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. It involved a Hyundai passenger car, a GMC SUV, a Ford Transit van, a Kia SUV, and a Jeep SUV.
The GMC struck the rear of the Hyundai, then the front of the Ford collided with the GMC, the GMC collided with the Kia, and the Kia collided with the Jeep, Marchan said.

Ruben Wilson, 69, had wandered off from his home near Cross Street and West Palisade Avenue before.

An unlicensed masseuse at a Central Jersey business has been arrested after not-so-happy clients allege that he touched them inappropriately, authorities said.
An Qinghai, 55, of New York City, was charged on Tuesday with two counts of sexual assault, Wall Township police said on Facebook.
Qinghai, who does not have a massage therapy license, worked at Happy Feet Reflexology at 1933 Route 35 in Wall Township for about two years, police said.
