Galloway Man Killed By Driver, 29, Who Crossed Center Line In Hamilton Crash: Police A 62-year-old man was killed in a Route 50 crash Saturday, Feb. 17, authorities said. Thomas Nyers, of Galloway, was heading north on the roadway in Hamilton when 29-year-old James Langlois, of Richland, was heading south in a 2017 Dodge Ram around 6:05 p.m., Hamilton police said. Langlois crossed into the northbound lane of travel hitting Nyers' vehicle south of Old Egg Harbor Road, authorities said. Neyers was pronounced dead at the scene and Langlois suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City Campus. Traffic was divert…

James Rodriguez Dies In Black Horse Pike Crash A 27-year-old man was killed in a crash on Black Horse Pike Saturday, Dec. 23 in Hamilton (Atlantic County), police said. James Rodriguez, of Minotola, was heading west in a 2008 Mazda Miata when the car left the road and struck multiple trees just before midnight near Route 50, Hamilton Township police said. Rodriguez was pronounced deceased at the scene and traffic was diverted for approximately three hours. Assisting on scene was the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, AtlantiCare Paramedics, Mays Landing and Laureldale Fire Departments.

Boy Struck By Car, Airlifted After Getting Off School Bus In Mays Landing A 15-year-old boy from Mays Landing had to be airlifted with serious injuries after being struck by a car, authorities said. The student had just gotten off a school bus when the crash occurred on Monday, Dec. 4 at about 5:40 p.m., according to Hamilton Township police in Atlantic County. The crash occurred at the intersection of Mays Landing Somers Point Road and Old River Road. A preliminary investigation found a 2013 Honda Civic operated by Richard Brownell, 79, of Selbyville, Delaware, was traveling southbound on Mays Landing Somers Point Road when he struck the boy, police said. Jamyre Dewey Jr. was traveling east on Route 40 at 7:54 p.m. on Sunday, July 30 when his Mitsubishi Galant crossed the center line and crashed into a westbound Toyota Highlander, Hamilton Township police said.
