Coastal Flood Advisory In Effect For Atlantic County Thousands of New Jersey residents were without power as of Tuesday evening, Jan. 9, as the storm intensified. A State of Emergency ordered by Gov. Phil Murphy went into effect at 5 p.m., with state and local officials urging residents to stay off the roads. As of 7:25 p.m., more than 2,000 residents in Hunterdon County were in the dark, according to JCP&L, including 123 in Delaware; 729 in Lambertville City; 733 in Raritan; 437 in West Amwell, and more. Jersey Shore Row-Boater Missing UPDATE: Rescuers found both the rowboat and life jacket of an Ocean Gate man who went missing before a major thunderstorm hit the Jersey Shore earlier this week, authorities confirmed. His wife reported Matt Conway, 67, missing around 4 p.m. Tuesday, they said. The U.S. Coast Guard released security camera photos of Conway shortly before he left a dock on the Toms River in a silver rowboat that morning.
