Pennsylvania Motorcyclist Dies In Route 72 Crash With Pickup Truck A Pennsylvania motorcyclist died in a crash on Route 72 in Burlington County, NJ Saturday, Sept. 16, authorities said. Eric Tomko, 47, of Bensalem, was heading east on Route 72 when he struck a westbound Chevrolet Silverado attempting a lefthand turn onto County Route 532 around 8:50 p.m. in Woodland Township, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said. Tomko was thrown from his bike, which entered the path of a Ford Escape traveling behind the Chevy, police said. On Monday, May 2, at 9:40 p.m., Stafford police responded to a collision on Route 72 westbound near the Garden State Parkway. Investigation indicated that a 2012 Jeep operated by Ronald Sheehy, 55, of Waretown, was traveling west on Route 72, and transitioning into the far right lane to access the Garden State Parkway north ramp, Stafford police said.
